Biosensor Research Center

Mission and Vision of the Biosensor Research Center

Mission:

This research center focuses specifically on designing methods for the diagnosis and treatment of glandular and metabolic diseases. Its objectives include collecting, organizing, and classifying relevant documents and articles, as well as training researchers in the design of biosensors and smart nanobiosensors for the identification and measurement of analytes. Additionally, the center aims to encourage and employ researchers, while seeking attention and collaboration from related research and executive centers both domestically and internationally. Establishing and strengthening interdisciplinary connections, alongside applying fundamental research results, are key advantages of this research center.

Vision:

The Biosensor Research Center operates effectively and specifically in developing knowledge, localizing, and applying methods for identifying and measuring analytes using biological elements and nanomaterials. The design of biosensors has significantly expanded in various fields of biology and medicine over the past decades. In recent years, the development of smart nanobiosensors has notably increased the sensitivity of measurement methods. These methods can aid research into unknowns in biological and medical sciences, as well as the mechanisms of certain diseases and disorders. They also play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating diseases, identifying their causes and contributing factors, and in related fields such as pharmacy, advanced drug delivery systems, and the discovery and evaluation of new drugs and their biological activity.
